Hey everybody, meet Pearl.

I'd like to introduce you to Pearl my new Cigar Box Guitar. She was made by John Sharples in Winnipeg Manitoba. She is a 22 3/4" scale length 3 string guitar featuring mother-of-pearl accents on the headstock and pickup cover. She also sports an cool internal amplifier so you can take her busking without needing a separate amp. Pearl demo video featuring a new song "Chili In The Pot" by Stephen Johns and Hal Brolund. I really like the detailing John did on this piece. The corner protectors not only add strength to this build but help define it's style and look. The volume and tone knobs are copper plumbing caps too. He has done a wonderful job with this guitar.

Festivals update and news

Things are rolling in high gear here at "HalCo" getting all set up for the summer festival touring season. I'm going to be traveling all over Canada this summer and then onto Australia in the late summer and the UK in early fall. Here are the festivals you can find me at this year.
